The Cabal's icy enforcer has clearly never been hugged a day in his life. Someone didn't love him as a child, and in turn, Solomon (Edi Gathegi) is ready to rid Dembe (Hisham Tawfiq) of the chance to watch his granddaughter grow up. It takes a sick man to poison a baby.

That being said, Dembe is now trapped in a dangerous dance with the Cabal, Red, and a poor, innocent child. It's an entirely surprising twist that left viewers biting their nails during the season 3 premiere.

"When it comes to The Blacklist, there is always something unexpected, but when I read the script for the first episode, I was hitting the roof I was so excited," Tawfiq told People of his character's new storyline. "This season is completely shocking, it takes a different approach, because the focus is on one shady character as opposed to new ones being introduced every episode."

Will Dembe be able to out maneuver his new foe? Red is currently caught up in Liz's latest catastrophe, but surly the master criminal will make time to save his bodyguard and closest confidant. If not, the Red/Dembe dynamic could go out the window as fast as Tom's "brother."
