More details surrounding the sequel of Marvel's blockbuster "Thor" have now been revealed by one of its actors, Tom Hiddleston.

The 31-year-old Englishman, who dons the role of the antagonist Loki in "Thor 2:  The Dark World," elaborated to Belfast Telegraph on what went down on set while he was hard at work on the highly anticipated flick.

"It's fantastic, truly. We are making an amazing film, and we're having a wonderful time. It's so exciting to have established characters and an established characters and an established setting in the world, and we are working so hard to cook up something new," Hiddleston said.

"That is what is exciting me, taking what we know, taking what we love and deepening it and giving it an extra dimension. I think director Alan Taylor is really shaping up the world of Asgard and the world of these characters."

Zachary Levi, former star of the popular television series "Chuck," is set to make his debut in the franchise as Fandral, an alley of Thor (Chris Hemsworth).

The actor, who appears uncharacteristically different, had to drastically lighten his hair to fit the bill for the role. Having to dye not only his mange, but eyebrows and beard as well, the 32-year-old joked about it in December at the E! at Spike TV's Video Game Awards in Los Angeles.

"People always ask me now if blondes have more fun," he said.

"No, it's really cool. Josh Dallas played the role I'm playing, Fandral the Dashing, in the first film. I was a little trepidatious about stepping into that because someone had already done it. But everyone's embraced me wholeheartedly and been very cool.

"We shoot in London. I've spent more time there in the last five months than anywhere else. It's been an incredible adventure."

"Thor 2" is set to hit the big screen on Nov. 8. Video and photos of the upcoming flick were recently posted on the web.
