Co-creator Ryan Murphy of FX's "American Horror Story" reportedly hinted that Wednesday night's installment of the series would contain a huge clue on what's to come in its third season.

Prior to the program airing, Murphy's spoke to Entertainment Weekly regarding the "Name Game" episode and its crystal ball-esque spoiler.

"You really have to be quick and watch. I made sure to put it in there for fans because I know people loved that last year, figuring it out," he said.

Although the episode was ridden with death, alien babies and electroshock treatment, there appeared to be two instances that could potentially be future indicators; Sister Mary Eunice playing "I Put A Spell On You" via jukebox and a reference to witchcraft.

The "Name Game" episode featured the return of Grace (Lizzie Brochere) while Jude (Jessica Lange) was at the receiving end of retribution, being given electroshock treatment by the possessed woman she once tortured.

However, the icing on the cake in terms of the episode came with the screeching halt of Dr. Arden's journey.  After being put down by Pepper (Naomi Grossman) and told not to associate with the resurrected Grace, the doctor went on to take the instructions personally.  He put a gun to his head and strongly considered suicide due to missing Sister Mary, who was lost.

Murphy is no stranger to throwing clues out to his viewers ahead of time for "American Horror Story."  He previously revealed information regarding Season 2's plot last year in the eleventh episode titled "Birth."

It was recently confirmed that series standout Jessica Lange will make her return for the third season. Nonetheless, more information regarding the show's future will more than likely come out at the upcoming Television Critics Association press tour.

"American Horror Story: Asylum" returns on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 10 pm on the FX network.
