Based on new reports from Daily Mail Friday, an arrest for Gordon could be “imminent” and even happen “any day.”

Gordon has been at the top of the person-of-interest list after Brown was found unconscious and unresponsive in the bathtub of the Roswell, Ga. home she and Gordon shared together on Jan. 31.

What Will Happen To Whitney Houston’s Inheritance After Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Death?

She later died on July 26 after being in a medically induced coma for nearly three months, entering a rehab treatment center and ending up in hospice in Atlanta, Ga. Her family, including her father, singer Bobby Brown, and her estate, has blamed Gordon for the incident and said he intended to cause harm to Bobbi Kristina. She was 22 when she passed away.

One insider said of Gordon, who now lives in Orlando, Fla. with his mother, “In all likelihood its would be Seminole County that would make the arrest and when there’s question of it coming from another state as this would it’s highly unlikely they’d trust him to turn himself in.”

They also said the police department will definitely have backup when bringing Gordon into custody.

“It would be a minimum of two cars sent and more if they thought there was any question of him resisting.”

They added that it wouldn’t be so easy for Gordon to be released once he is behind bars.

“They wouldn’t just let him walk in and walk out— he would have to be processed through court and bailed or spend a night in the cells if it happened too late in the day for the court to sit.”
