Tom Bergeron won't be appearing in Monday night's episode of ABC's Dancing With the Stars - who's filling in for him?
Who Will Be Eliminated On 'Dancing With the Stars' This Week?
The longtime host of Dancing With the Stars is missing the next episode due to an important family matter. Bergeron wrote about the matter in a new tweet:
I'll miss 2morrow's #dwts to be at my Dad's bedside. He's given me a lifetime of support. Time to return the favor. pic.twitter.com/l8NmkFUSkC

Replacing Bergeron for the night will be season 19 winner Alfonso Ribeiro, who just sat in as a guest judge during last Monday's episode. Co-host Erin Andrews will be at the show as usual. He later tweeted about the various positive responses he has received for him and his father.
I'm on a plane reading all of your lovely tweets which I'll share with my Dad. They are deeply appreciated. Thank you. — Tom Bergeron (@Tom_Bergeron) October 5, 2015
Ribeiro posted a photo of Bergeron and his father on his Instagram account, writing that he will be filling in with a "heavy heart."

Monday night's episode will feature the celebs performing dances dedicated to the most memorable year of their life.
"Each couple will dance to a song of the celebrity's choosing that encompasses a memorable time, or truly incredible experience in their life," the ABC press release reads. "These heartfelt performances promise to showcase some of the most exciting choreography and emotionally powerful routines of the season yet. Viewers can expect to see Nick Carter dancing to a Backstreet Boys hit song, Gary Busey paying homage to Buddy Holly, and Bindi Irwin commemorating her father, to name a few. At the end of evening, one couple will be eliminated from the ballroom competition.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
