He has plans to marry her in just one month's time, but his fiancee's recent freak out over an unexpected phone call will cause Jake (Billy Miller) to begin wondering what Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) is hiding from him on General Hospital.

Elizabeth & Nikolas Worry About Their Schemes Being Exposed

She was already appearing a little freaked out when he told her about Sam's (Kelly Monaco) belief that if Jason were alive he'd find his way to her again, but after a phone call from a number Jake can only see is blocked further rattles her, he will get more suspicious. Added to that, when Sam and Patrick (Jason Thompson) show up to announce their engagement, Elizabeth may be a little too happy-further cause for his suspicion to widen.

"Patrick and I are engaged," Sam says in a preview clip for the Tuesday, October 6 episode, as Jake and Elizabeth stare at them.

Meanwhile, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) will continue trying to keep a hold of Hayden (Rebecca Budig) and her determination to figure out the truth about what led to her being in a coma in the first place-and when Laura (Genie Francis) shows up, he could lose control of the situation all together when his mother recognizes Hayden for who she really is.

"You're the one who knows Jake Doe's real identity," she says to Hayden in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
