Fans of Rihanna are not happy with the singer's recent comments in a Vanity Fair interview where she referred to Rachel Dolezal, the former Washington president of the NAACP who identified as black but was actually caucasian, as a hero.

In her interview, the 27-year-old singer actually took a less popular opinion on Dolezal, referring to her a hero for showing people a different side of what it means to be black, and why it's okay.

"I think she was a bit of a hero because she kind of flipped on society a little bit," Rihanna said in the interview. "Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people's perspective a bit and woke people up."
