Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Fights $10 Million Lawsuit Amid Rumors Of Murder Charge [VIDEO]
Bobbi Kristina Brown’s longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon is doing all he can to clear his name in a major case against him in her death.
Arrest For Nick Gordon Is ‘Imminent’ & Could Be ‘Any Day’ Upon Possible Murder Charges
Brown’s family has already made it clear they strongly believe he is behind the death of Bobbi Kristina and he has fought to maintain his innocence.
Most recently, it was reported that a judge was already gearing up a list of people for a grand jury in the trial against Gordon. It has also been said that he could be arrested and charged with murder any day now.

As for Gordon, his legal team has taken another step for him. His lawyer went as far as filing a motion just this past Monday with the hopes of convincing a judge to put a halt to the civil lawsuit Bobbi Kristina’s estate file against him; at least until a criminal investigation has come to a conclusion in what really happened to Bobbi Kristina. Her estate is currently suing him for $10 million for “wrongful death” after she passed away on July 26. She was found unresponsive in her bathtub roughly six months before. In the lawsuit, it is stated that Gordon gave her a “toxic cocktail” to knock her unconscious.
In Gordon’s lawsuit, he has pointed out that the case being the center of headlines as well as Bobbi Kristina’s parents being the famous Bobby Brown and late Whitney Houston, has been a huge disadvantage for him. He believes it will lead to him being “unfairly, legally and financially prejudiced should he be subject to parallel criminal and civil proceedings.”
On top of that, he is concerned that anything he says to defend himself in the civil case could be used against him in the investigation; such as the autopsy, which has been completed but not released yet by the Fulton County Medical Examiner.
Documents say it “would be used to defend and lead to the dismissal of the allegations made against him in this civil proceeding.”
