'Dancing With the Stars' Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Thinks It Wouldn't Be 'Fair' For Kim Zolciak Biermann To Return

Chmerkovskiy, who previously performed as a pro for 14 seasons, will be a guest judge on the next episode. The news was announced on ABC's Good Morning America on Wednesday.

He will join Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli for Week 5. Like Hough, whose brother Derek Hough is a pro with the show, Chmerkovskiy's brother Val Chmerkovskiy is also a pro this season. Will Maks be harder on Val due to sibling rivalry or will he be totally unbiased? Only time will tell.

Maks signed on as a pro for Dancing With the Stars back in season 2 and competed on and off up to season 18. He was a runner-up and third place finisher a handful of times during his run but never won until last year. Maks was paired with Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis in season 18 and together they became one of the most masterful couples in DWTS history, taking home the Mirrorball trophy. After his big win, Maks announced he was retiring from DWTS as a pro. He would later go on to guest judge on future seasons.

Meanwhile, Val is coming off his own first win last season. Val was paired with actress Rumer Willis for DWTS's landmark 20th season.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
