She has been seeking answers ever since waking up from her coma, and now, Hayden (Rebecca Budig) may finally start getting the ones she seeks on General Hospital.

Jake Starts Questioning Elizabeth's Strange Behavior

Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) has constantly found ways to keep her from learning more about her memories of smashing a vase in his home, how she knows who Jake (Billy Miller) really is, and what caused her to wind up in a coma in the first place. But now, with the return of his mother, Laura (Genie Francis) who knows all of the answers, she could stumble across the truth much quicker than expected.

Laura will have a conversation with Nikolas about the continued schemes to keep the truth about Jake's real identity-as Jason Morgan-a secret, and will finally confront him with the suspicion both she and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) previously shared that he had ordered the hit on Hayden to keep her from telling the truth to Jake.

Elizabeth & Nikolas Begin To Worry About Their Schemes Being Exposed

"Do you really believe I would try to take someone's life?" he asks Laura in a preview clip for the Wednesday, October 7 episode.

What both he and Laura will be unaware of though, is that Hayden is positioned right outside the door to the room they're speaking in-and will overhear everything until she is caught by someone else-potentially Jake himself, who is at Wyndemere to investigate why Hayden may have called Elizabeth and what she could have said to her which rattled her horribly.

"Hey," a voice says to Hayden in the clip, forcing her to turn around with a scared look on her face.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
