Now that we have some distance from Big Brother 17 we can assess who should be brought back for a future "All Stars" season.

Are 'Big Brother 17' Houseguests Austin & Liz Still Together?

Big Brother has only produced one full All Stars edition back in season 7, but they have mixed returning players and newbies for seasons 11, 13 and 14. Now, heading into Big Brother 18 next year, we wonder if CBS is planning a big returning player season. Considering they have not featured any returning players since season 14, it may be time for another one.

Recent houseguests like Amanda Zuckerman from Big Brother 15 and Donny Thompson from Big Brother 16 seem like shoo-ins for an All Stars season, but who from Big Brother 17 should be brought back?

'Big Brother 17' Houseguest Jason Roy Lands Role On 'Bold and the Beautiful'

While BB17 featured some unpredictable gameplay there was a certain lack of big personalities making it to the end of the game. Players like Da'Vonne Rogers, Audrey Middleton and Jason Roy could have been huge fan favorites (or epic villains) if they lasted longer, but their early evictions could rule them out for consideration.

Two houseguests that made it far while also becoming fan favorites were John "Johnny Mac" McGuire and James Huling. Both seem like houseguests America would want to see again, and the producers surely must have loved the amount of content they gave them.

Another houseguest who should definitely be considered is Vanessa Rousso. Vanessa played a dominant game through the entire summer but lost the final HOH competition by one point, leading to eventual winner Steve Moses evicting her. The competitive nature in Vanessa will likely propel her to accept an offer to return to see if she can pull off a win this time.

As for other possibilities, Liz and Julia Nolan seem like a package deal but it may be interesting to see only one of them in the house. Austin Matelson was largely despised by fans but he could be a potential villain if need be.

Jurors like Shelli Poole and Becky Burgess showed they had some game in them, so they may be under consideration as well.

Steve may not want the stress of returning to the house, especially considering he already won the $500,000. But if other winners like Andy Herren or Derrick Levasseur are invited back, it's possible he'll accept an offer too.
