The 100 is keeping particularly tight wraps on one of season 3's newest characters.

'The 100' Season 3: This Character 'Will Crush You', Jason Rothenberg Teases Return

Played by Black Sail's Zach McGowan, Roan is one of the greatest mysteries facing viewers as the spring premiere inches closer. Described as a rogue Grounder who "will stop at nothing to get what he wants," Roan sounds like he will provide plenty of problems for Arkers and Grounders alike.

To help allay fan's curiosity, series creator Jason Rothenberg and writer Shawna Benson recently fielded some Roan-related questions on Twitter.

"Anything I say will be a spoiler, practically," Benson teased on Wednesday. "But @Zach_McGowan is so great and perfect for our show!"

Rothenberg, meanwhile, gave his followers a little insight into Roan's current state of mind.

"He's not a happy camper when we meet him," Rothenberg tweeted coyly.

When, exactly, will Roan enter into the storyline? Considering his casting was announced back in July, it's fairly safe to assume McGowan will make his debut within the first few episodes.
