While Brandi Maxiell going head-to-head with Shaunie O’Neal was the most talked about moment on the Basketball Wives LA final Sunday, a first look at the reunion special reveals that she and Tami Roman are the really the ones who are going to be going at it.

The clip starts right in the heat of their screaming match so it’s not really clear what started this spat, but whatever it was, is definitely getting a reaction from the cast and even host John Salley who can’t help but laugh.

Maxiell tells Roman, “You can’t say you didn’t watch our s*** but you were thirsty enough to bring your lil a** on our s***.”

She seems to be referring to Roman’s transfer from Basketball Wives in Miami to the Los Angeles installment after the Miami series ended. Roman tries to clear the air and correct Maxiell’s comments.

Roman pointed to O’Neal and said, “This woman right here who rights your checks asked me to come. So it ain’t about being thirsty. It’s about saving your job.”

But Maxiell then called out Roman after she “skipped and hopped to every reality show that would give you a check” before labeling her a “thirsty sugar mama.”

Roman has starred in other series like WeTV’s Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars after being a cast member on Basketball Wives in Miami.

Roman said that Maxiell would need as many checks as she can get if her husband Jason, isn’t playing anymore. But then Maxiell blast Roman and said the Miami show ended after Evelyn Lozada walked away.

Toward the end of the clip, it’s revealed that they are discussing Draya Michele’s comment that Maxiell’s storyline concerning cancer was boring. Check it out and don’t miss the reunion Sunday at 9/8c on VH1.
