With Teresa Giudice only having a couple of more months left to service in federal prison, her husband Joe Giudice, is able to laugh off the lifestyle he has become accustomed to while she remains behind bars.

Joe briefly became a single parent for their four daughters when Teresa turned herself into jail earlier this year after the two pleaded guilty for several fraud charges last year.

He told E! News just how much his life as a father as he knew it changed once his wife went to prison on fraud charges.

“I’ve always been a father. I’ve always done everything but Teresa did all the driving around, running around, paying for everything and doing all this and doing all that. I never knew how many expenses there are just in the activities. Cheer’s expensive, soccer’s expensive. Everything’s expensive. But I enjoy it. it’s fun watching them and they ddi really good.”

Joe will be spending time behind bars himself once Teresa is released. His sentence wa sa little more intense and he could serve more than three years. He also risks being deported back to Italy after his term is complete.

He added, “I’m like the mom— I’m like the cheer mom and whatever,” he laughed, while admitting it isn’t something he’s completely against.

“It’s exciting watching the cheer because they’re doing a lot of flips and all this other stuff. There’s a lot of dads at the cheer, too.”
