Things are about to get more difficult for Frank on Blue Bloods when pressure sets in.

Chatter On Danny's Frightening Message On 'Blue Bloods'

On Thursday, Tom Selleck (Frank) appeared on daytime series The Talk when he mentioned that all his responsibilities will catch up with him, leaving him to realize that there's only so much he can do. When it comes to being in charge of a giant group of people whose lives are at risk, this is going to cause unwanted pressure.

"The responsibility of sending 35,000 men and women into harm's way is weighing on him and he has mauled over a couple times, 'even if I'm asked to come back when there's a new election, do I want to?'" Selleck said. "The big problem for him is he kind of has a hyperactive sense to responsibility and if he goes, all his universe, all those people who are part of his team will either have to retire or be promoted off."

The actor also mentioned that he doesn't know everything that's going to happen in remaining episodes of the crime drama, but that's okay because he likes not knowing all the answers.

"I don't know where they're going and I kind of like that as an actor," Selleck said. "They don't tell me where I'm going and that kind of makes the work better."

Blue Bloods airs on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
