Serena Williams and Drake have been getting pretty close lately; so it’s no surprise that wedding rumors have already sparked for the rumored couple. Now Drake has responded to speculation.

A rep for the rapper told TMZ Thursday that despite reports that Drake got on one knee and asked the iconic tennis player to marry him, wedding bells are not ringing for the two.

At least not yet.

“The rumor is completely untrue,” they said Thursday.

Speculation about Drake and Williams being Hollywood’s newest it couple has been surfacing for years. After all, it is not uncommon to see Drake supporting Williams front row at some of her biggest tennis matches. While they both remained quiet about the rumors, they seemed to confirm it after photos of them making out in a Cincinnati restaurant back in August surfaced online and went viral. Even though they had a private room, other customers still spotted them getting extra close. See photos here.

But that wasn’t the first time they were seen enjoying a little PDA, and it might not be the last. Just last month Drake supported Williams during her New York Fashion Week show. She used many of his songs as the models strutted the runway for her fashion show. Still, it was what went on backstage that has people talking. They chatted it up while Williams was all smiles and held his arm. Drake then kissed her hand before letting Williams entertain the reporters.
