After overcoming all of the negative publicity and disapproval that faced them when her secret that she was transgender came out and when they married, Rick (Jacob Young) and Maya (Karla Mosley) will decide to take their relationship one more step further on The Bold and the Beautiful.

The couple will decide the time has come for them to consider having a child of their own, fulfilling the dream they both have of finally being parents.

"I want a baby with you," Maya says to Rick in a preview clip for the Friday, October 9 episode.

However, the fact that she is transgender does throw a major wrench in the couple's plans, as Maya cannot physically carry a child of her own. And because they are a high-profile couple, and the world does know the truth about her, there is a likely chance they would face major discrimination if they tried to adopt as well-meaning there is only one real option for the two-finding a surrogate.

As they consider their options for who to ask, only one person will come to mind as the best candidate-their biggest supporter, and Maya's little sister, Nicole (Reign Edwards). After reaching their decision, Maya will then ask her sister if she would do the most wonderful thing she could ever ask for her to do, and carry a baby for her.

"It would be the best and biggest gift that you could possibly give me," Maya says to her in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
