They both know the truth about his real identity, but Laura (Genie Francis) will try one last time to get through to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and convince her to be honest with Jake (Billy Miller) about the fact that he is truly Jason on General Hospital.

Nathan's Assumption Leads To Dire Consequences

Laura learned the truth from her son, Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) and has so far kept quiet, but now that she's back in Port Charles again and has seen that both Jason and Sam (Kelly Monaco) have plans to marry Elizabeth and Patrick (Jason Thompson), she will decide the charade needs to end and try to appeal to the guilt she knows Elizabeth feels over harboring such a huge secret.

"I think you're making a terrible mistake," Laura says to her in a preview clip for the Friday, October 9 episode.

Hayden Overhears An Important Conversation

However, what neither one of them knows is that Jake is working with Sam to try and figure out the truth concerning his identity because he wants to know who he really is before he marries Elizabeth-and the pressure is on for them to learn the truth because he and Elizabeth are set to wed shortly.

"We've got less than a month to figure out who I am," he says in the clip.

Meanwhile, the truth could also be exposed by someone else-Hayden (Rebecca Budig), who may not actually have her memory back following her coma, but she did overhear a conversation between Nikolas and Laura where she heard them say that Jake was Jason-and now, she may begin hinting to Nikolas that she knows the truth, daring him to stop her from destroying his life by exposing the secret.

"You will get what you deserve," she says in the clip. "Trust me."

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
