Minority Report's writers could use a little help from the precogs.

Fox is sounding the death knell for the sci-fi series, and the series' execs could really use one of Dash's visions to help save the day. Originally slated for a 13-episode first season, Minority Report has already seen its order timed to 10, according to TV Line.

A continuation of the similarly titled 2002 movie, Minority Report picked up several years after the desolation of the PreCrime program. The innovative leap in crime fighting hinged on the combined visions of Dash, Arthur, and Agatha, and even though the government no longer needed their talents, that doesn't mean the precogs were ready to hang up their spurs. Well, Dash wasn't, and now that he's working with the cops once more, his fellow clairvoyants are back in the game as well.

If you are worried this episode cut will affect the season arc, TV Line promises that won't be the case. Despite ditching over two hours worth of plot, Fox is expected to wrap up the story in a satisfying matter. They better, particularly since it seems highly unlikely viewers will ever see a second season.
