'Faking It' Season 2 Spoilers: Theo & Lauren's Relationship Hits A Major Speed Bump [VIDEO]
They happily reunited and have been keeping their relationship on the DL so he doesn't lose his job, but Lauren (Bailey DeYoung) and Theo (Keith Powers) will face a major crisis that could change everything for them on Faking It.
Old Feelings Return When Karma & Amy Fake It Again
The two haven't been able to go public with their romance because Theo is back at Hester, but this time he is no longer an undercover cop, and dating a student will lose him his job if he's exposed. However, the need for secrecy will post a big problem when prom rolls around and Lauren needs a date.
"I am not okay with you going on a date with another guy," he says to her in a preview clip for the Monday, October 12 episode.
"What am I supposed to do, I'm the head of the prom committee," Lauren replies. "I'd go with you but that's not really an option."
However, she will quickly offer up a solution that appeases them both-promising Theo that her date won't be someone who poses a risk to their relationship, but reiterating she will go with someone she can take who won't mortify her in pictures.
"It won't be a real date. I'll have plenty of offers, I'll just choose the most harmless one, who will still look decent in pictures of course," she says.
"Fine. As long as I get veto power," Theo replies.
"Deal," Lauren says. "I have to say, I kind of like you all jealous and territorial."
Faking It airs Mondays at 9:30 p.m. on MTV.
