The Real World's 31st season is taking place in Las Vegas.

Are These Five People Going To Make It On MTV's 'The Real World?'

Although the series has been filmed in Sin City twice already, once in 2002 and a second time in 2011, MTV has officially announced its third installment of The Real World: Las Vegas, which recently began filming in downtown Las Vegas.

“Las Vegas is an iconic film destination and I’m thrilled to welcome MTV downtown,” Las Vegas mayor Carolyn G. Goodman said in a statement, via a report by The Ashley's Reality Roundup on Monday. “While ‘Real World’ viewers have seen the show in Las Vegas before, they haven’t seen it played out with a vintage flair in our vibrant downtown.”

Potential Cast Member Of 'The Real World' Says He 'Likes To Impress'

According to The Ashley's report, the 31st season of The Real World will include Road Rules elements, with "challenges every week," the first of which has already taken place.

"That challenge took place on the first day of filming," their source explained. "The seven roommates were taken on a hot air balloon ride and told that they had to jump from the balloon in order to stay on the show."

As for the cast, The Ashley named five of the seven members, including Christopher, a New Yorker who grew up in a Mormon family, Sabrina, a singer from Boston, Kailah, a college student, model and aspiring journalist from Florida, CeeJai, an aspiring attorney from Atlanta who lost her mother to domestic violence, and Dione, a party enthusiast from Massachusetts with a slew of past arrests.

The Real World: Las Vegas is expected to premiere in early 2016.
