Have Mercy, Aunt Becky Will Officially Be Making A Return To 'Fuller House!'

As he and his former co-stars prepare to reunite for the Netflix reboot of the hit 90s sitcom, Stamos has joined the cast of a new comedy, FOX's Grandfathered.

“I’m satisfied with being a guy who’s likable and funny and self-deprecating,” Stamos said of his character, Jimmy, on Tuesday, via The Columbus Dispatch. “I don’t need to stretch so far — especially in television, where you could play a character, hopefully, for years. You want to play something that you enjoy doing for 10, 12, 14 hours a day."

Mary-Kate & Ashley Will Not A Part Of Netflix's 'Fuller House' Reunion Series

“I’m not afraid to lean into what people want to see me do,” he continued, “and I’m not afraid to throw a baby in there, if I have to, or throw in some old friend I used to be on another TV show with, if that’s what people want to see.”

In other Stamos news, the actor recently addressed rumors of possible tension between himself and the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, due to their decision to pass on roles on Fuller House.

“That’s not true," Stamos told Andy Cohen during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, via Just Jared. "There was a lot of stuff in the press that wasn’t true about that... Everything is super sweet with us.”
