Through two episodes of Hotel, Liz Taylor has lingered in the background mysteriously, shuffling around the endless hotel hallways in billowing gowns. While she has spouted a few one-liners here and there, she has been an elusive presence that leaves you wanting to learn more about her.

Luckily, fans we be seeing Liz Taylor's story in an upcoming episode. American Horror Story show runner Ryan Murphy spoke with Entertainment Weekly after Wednesday's episode and teased what's ahead for Liz Taylor and why O'Hare considers her his favorite character.

Why 'American Horror Story: Hotel' Is Evan Peters' Favorite Season To Date

"We have a really great episode that I believe is number five that has a very strong backstory where you find out who Liz Taylor was before Liz Taylor and how she was transformed and all that. It's a really great moment for him," Murphy explained. "I think this is Denis' favorite character. I think particularly in the case of Denis, Liz Taylor is such an emotional role and I think it scares him. But that's the great fun of the show. He talked to me a lot about how playing Liz Taylor has sort of changed his own personal views."
