Kaley Cuoco has joined William Shatner for the new Priceline commercial, in a move that is sure to excite fans.

The "The Big Bang Theory" star is featured alongside the Star Trek actor’s character for the newest ad, which was released just on Wednesday afternoon on YouTube (the video is shown below).

In the new Priceline ad Shatner's Negotiator is shown driving through the mountains with a little girl next to him. He drops the girl off to a solitary monk, looking solemn as he does so, but with an expression knowing that this is for the best.

The caption then shows “20 years later” and shows Shatner arriving back and Cuoco waiting alongside the monk. She gets in the car are he asks, “How’d it go?”

She then reveals Shatner’s character is her dad, and their ensuing conversation is used to promote Priceline’s even-easier methods of booking hotel rooms using a mobile app.

Cuoco explains how she has spent her entire childhood training with monks in the art of “deal making.”

Cuoco has said that her 81 year old co-star, Shatner, has made the company "cool," and expressed her excitement at being chosen to feature alongside him in the ads.

She has been brought on board to ensure the Priceline message was updated for its younger audiences and potential customers.

The first installment of their series of ads together is scheduled to be launched Jan. 14. Two further commercials featuring the pair are already planned to be filmed in the summer, Cuoco has confirmed.

Cuoco has said she and Shatner had "way too much fun" filming together. Shatner also praised the new Priceline actress, saying she was "quite a talent."

Priceline chose Cuoco in part due to her popularity on "The Big Bang Theory," which has become the most popular sit-com in the United States. The show features a group of four "nerdy" scientists and their neighbor, played by Cuoco. References are often made in the show to sci-fi films and TV programs, including numerous references to Star Trek.

Cuoco has said, "The nerdy factor, the Trekkie stuff, it goes with 'Big Bang' and it all worked together," according to AP. "It's definitely exciting working with Bill, and being part of a campaign and a brand that I've pretty much grown up with. He has single-handedly built the Priceline Negotiator into a pop culture icon. I think there's a lot of overlap in our fans, who will appreciate seeing us together as a father and daughter team. And who wouldn't want to be William Shatner's daughter?"
