How will Brennan (Emily Deschanel) react to the arrival of Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) in the upcoming Bones and Sleepy Hollow crossover?

How Will Betty White Join The Jeffersonian Team On 'Bones'?

The Bones and Sleepy Hollow crossover will take place next week, with Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) visiting the Jeffersonian, where Brennan and company are investigating a headless body. Booth (David Boreanaz) joins in as the four characters try to determine who the body belonged to.

Now, it's not every day that someone like Ichabod Crane walks into your place of work, so how will Brennan react? Apparently it won't matter all that much to her!

Brennan & Booth's 'Fire' On 'Bones' Will Be Brought Back Through Season 11

"Brennan is one of the few people who can look at Ichabod Crane as the guy who's wearing this 18th-century outfit, and she just doesn't even mind that," Bones executive producer Michael Peterson told TVGuide.com recently. "That, to her, is completely off her radar. He really is an 18th-century squint, and she loves that. He's a man who's out of time, but he was a scholar, and they get along very, very well as a result of that."

Meanwhile, Abbie will find herself drawn to Booth and his job.

"Her dream, more or less, was to be Booth," Peterson said, of Abbie. "She wanted forever to be an FBI agent and to be doing these big, high-profile cases, so they, too, have this great relationship."

Peterson also clarified that both shows will remain true to their formats.

"Even though it's a crossover, both shows are true to themselves," he noted. "We're not going to have ghosts flying through the lab or anything like that. It's going to be a Bones show with Sleepy Hollow elements to it. It was just great that the characters meshed up in such a way, and that's really been the highlight."

The episodes will air next Thursday starting at 8 p.m. on Fox.
