Katherine Webb, Miss Alabama 2012 who has become an overnight sensation after an ESPN announcer brought national attention to her during the BCS National Game on Monday, may soon cash in on her fifteen minutes of fame.

Webb, 23, sent a tweet on Thursday, Jan. 10 that revealed that she may have been booked for a photoshoot for Sports Illustrated magazine.

"It's official...shooting with Sports Illustrated!" Webb reportedly tweeted.

The announcement went viral as it was quickly retweeted and later deleted. So far, Webb or the magazine have yet to confirm the photoshoot.

The executive editor of Maxim magazine, however, has hinted at the possibility that Webb might grace the pages in the men's magazine.

"Let's just say that everyone should keep their eyes open for future issues of Maxim," Patrick Carone, executive editor at Maxim Magazine told Fox News. "Nothing is at all set."

Carone noted that Webb should be strategic while fielding other offers because she has an advantage- she is a pageant winner with a heavyweight behind her, Miss USA owner Donald Trump.

"I think it would be a big mistake for her to you know suddenly agree to be naked in Playboy but at the same time, you know, if she wanted to do a very tasteful spread in Maxim, I'm sure no one would have any arguments about that," said Carone. "The big advantage that she has is being part of the Miss USA world, is a fellow by the name Donald Trump. So when you have Donald Trump in the mix, anything is possible."

Webb, 23, who is dating Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, gained over 250,000 followers on Twitter in less than 4 days after ESPN announcer Brent Musburgur pointed her out live on television. Musburger, 73, publicly called Webb a "lovely lady" and a "beautiful woman" while more than 16 million viewers were tuned in.

"You see that lovely lady there, that's AJ McCarron's girlfriend," Musburger announced on ESPN. "Wow, I'm telling you. You quarterbacks, you get all the good looking women. Honest. What a beautiful woman....Whoa!"

ESPN apologized for the comments the following day. Webb has received numerous requests for television interviews and other appearances since the incident. She appeared on "TODAY" on Jan. 9 to talk with Matt Lauer. However, TMZ reported that Webb declined eight interviews on Thursday, Jan. 10 because she was concerned it might affect her relationship with McCarron.
