Lamar Odom is back in good spirits and back on the good side of the Kardashian clan after he and Khloe Kardashian decided to work on their marriage. But he’s taking things a step further with a special request for his sister-in-law, Kim Kardashian, and her husband Kanye West.

It’s been reported that a pregnant Kim and her husband, West are expecting a baby boy. But what we don’t know is what they plan on naming him. While rumors have swirled on a possible name, Odom  allegedly hopes he can help them with that, according to new reports.

One source told Hollywood Life Monday that Odom wants the child to be his own namesake.

“Lamar told Khloe to tell Kim to name her on Lamar! He explained to Khloe that the name symbolizes strength and courage. He also told her that the name is synonymous with being brave and a fighter, just like he is. He was dead serious, too, and he held Khloe’s arm while he told her this.”

Interestingly enough, Khloe was very open with her difficulty to conceive when it came to her and Odom having children back when they were having happier days.

Kim has said that she is fond of the name, Easton, which would be another play on their last name, West. Their daughter, North West, just turned two earlier this summer.

As for Kanye, word is he’s thinking about the name “Nazareth.”

“It’s the childhood home of Kanye’ savior, Jesus. In Israel, the city is ancient and historical, and he loves the fact that it is the epitome of spirituality and holiness.”
