The soulful singer, Sam Smith attended last night's Premier of the latest James Bond installment, 'Spectre.' Dressed in a white-smart tux, he was joined on the red carpet by a host of female friends.

The 23-year-old English singer posted on his Twitter account on being 'straight,' as he went out with his pal Tiffany Claire on a romantic trip to Mc Donalds.

Meanwhile, the singer was reportedly on taking a break from his career and wanted to enjoy being at home and spend some time dating after his new song's massive launch. The song was entitled 'Writings on the Wall,' a James Bond: Spectre theme song.

Smith revealed to ET online on his decision to step-away for a period of time on live performances, "I am sad, but also it feels right," he told ET backstage at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, where he performed as part of CBS Radio's We Can Survive concert in honor of breast cancer awareness. "It's my last performance in America, and it feels right to do it in such a beautiful setting."

Although fans of the singer will be disappointed of the news, somehow our beloved star appears to have picked the right choice and will deliberately think what his next move will be after his success on Spectre.

As Smith explained his reasons: "'I've been going now for three years nonstop and it feels right for me to just go home and just live my life and be a 23-year-old," he said. After speaking of his career decision, According to MailOnline, Smith is currently on a world tour alongside his promotional work for 'Spectre,' but on his website, the last live appearance he is due to perform will be in December.
