Shakira Pregnant: Photographed in Barcelona with Enormous Baby Bump, Mid-January Due Date [PHOTOS]

Shakira was spotted with a huge baby bump in the streets of Barcelona on Monday, dismissing rumors that she may have already given birth to her first child.

The 35-year-old singer was photographed having a stroll in Barcelona with her hair tied in a pony tail, wearing black pants and a black David Bowie t-shirt. She plans to give birth in Spain, according to the Daily Mail.

Shakira and her boyfriend Spanish soccer player Gerard Pique are expecting the arrival of their baby any time in the next couple of days.

In a special report about Pique in December, soccer association UEFA reported that the baby was due in mid-January.

On Dec. 28, Pique tricked thousands of people when he announced via Twitter that his grilfriend had given birth to their son. Later, the Spanish soccer player said it was a "Happy Day of the Innocents" prank.

Shakira appears to be very happy as well. She made public the ultrasound picture of her baby boy earlier this month.

The singer has reportedly been very excited about becoming a mom and has kept her fans abreast of her pregnancy using her Twitter account.

In September last year, the Colombian singer confirmed that she was expecting her first child with 25-year-old soccer star.

"Gerard I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" she posted on her official website. "At this time we have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days."
