Miley Cyrus and her fiance Liam Hemworth took a flight out of Los Angeles on Friday, Jan. 11, joined by the actor's family, perhaps in celebration of his upcoming 23rd birthday. 

The 20-year-old former Disney star and the actor, whose birthday is on Jan. 13, were spotted walking through LAX Airport with Hemsworth's older brother, Luke Hemsworth, his wife Samantha and their daughters Holly, Ella and Harper Rose. 

"It's my baby's birfffday today so no tweeting :) gotta spend that [quality time]. gonna be on a little twitter hiatus for a bit. Love y'all," Cyrus tweeted Sunday. "PS I will let him know how many of our fans have sent such sweet b-day messages ❤ you da best." 

The couple, who met on the set of "The Last Song" in 2010, celebrated Noah Cyrus' 13th birthday earlier this month. Miley's younger sister held her Jan. 8 birthday party at Level 3 Nightclub in Hollywood, where the band 24/7 performed.

Liam's film 'The Hunger Games" has done well so far in the award season. On Jan, 9, at the People's Choice Awards, it picking up five awards including Favorite Movie. The film, based on the trilogy of novels by Suzanne Collins, beat out "The Avengers," "The Amazing Spider-Man," "The Dark Knight Rises" and "Snow White and the Huntsman" for the coveted favorite movie accolade.

Jennifer Lawrence, who played "Hunger Games" heroine Katniss Everdeen, won the Favorite Movie Actress award over Mila Kunis, Emma Stone, Anne Hathaway and Scarlett Johansson. Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam won Favorite On-Screen Chemistry.

Liam's other brother, Chris Hemsworth, took home the honor for Favorite Action Movie Star for his role as Thor in the comic book-inspired film.

Miley and Liam got engaged in June 2012 and rumors began surfacing around Christmas 2012 that they secretly wed after both of them sporting rings on their wedding finger.
