Barbara Palvin Says Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Did Not Break Up Because of Her

She may be an irresistibly gorgeous Victoria's Secret model, but Barbara Palvin said that she was not the reason for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's breakup.

Days after the hottest teen couple parted ways for good, Palvin slammed rumors of a secret romance with the heartthrob.

"You know how the drama started - Selena retweeted the picture," Palvin told Celebuzz. "I'm okay to talk about it because I know there's nothing. It's ridiculous how this got to the news."

The picture in question? A sexy Palvin posing beside Bieber in a silky, pink robe backstage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion show. Apparently miffed, Gomez then re-tweeted the photo and added the caption "..."

The 19-year-old Hungarian model said she's just a fan and "wanted to meet him real bad."

"I watched his movie - 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' and I was like, he's such a cool kid, I want to meet him," she added.

The picture posted by Bieber's pal Lil Twist resulted in thousands of Bieber's fans sending threatening tweets to Palvin. After receiving backlash from "Beliebers" for the outing, Palvin denied reports of dating Bieber on Twitter.

"Hey everyone. please calm down. he is all yours!! :) please :)," Palvin wrote. "Last time I'm saying it. please calm down.there is nothing going on w him.i met him and did a pic w him. wouldn't u do the same?:) #friendship."

After the VS show, Palvin hoped to take her sister to see "The Lion King" on Broadway but tickets were sold out.

"I just came up and was telling him, 'My sister is here, but she's sad because we can't go to Broadway, no more tickets," Palvin said.

Being the mega-star he is, Bieber pulled a few strings and got tickets to the show attended by Palvin, her agent and a group of friends.

The "Jelena" controversy also caused drama within Palvin's own personal relationships.

"[The media] gave me a real hard time with this with my boyfriend. They also put him in the press and he's not a celebrity or anything," she said. "Him being back home [in Hungary] with a normal life and everybody is like, 'You're girlfriend is dating Justin.' It's very hard for him. It made me p***ed, but there's always a dark side of this business."

Gomez and Bieber reportedly broke up for good after a trip to Mexico over the New Year's holiday, which ended in a bitter fight.
