'Supergirl' Spoilers: Will Kara & James Love Triangle Lose Viewers? EP Looks To Shake It Up

Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) received a blast from the past when Astra (Laura Benanti) emerged as the premiere baddie of Fort Rozz, and the newly dubbed Supergirl will have to deal with a super powered family feud as episode 2 begins. As far as we can tell, their battle is about to get violent.

"I never know how much I'm allowed to say, because she's a pretty complicated and layered character," Benanti explained, according to TV Line. "What I can tell you right now is that she is Alura Zor-El's twin sister, who was obviously sent to Fort Rozz by her sister. I can't tell you why and I can't tell you what she's been sent to Earth to do, but I can tell you that I punch a lot of people in the face."

Astra will have one chink in her armor however, and it isn't her blinding rage. As the Kryptonian  attempts to "save" Earth in her own twisted way, viewers will find out that Astra has an Achilles heel.

"She has a soft spot...," Benanti teased.
