Kanye West surprisingly announced his girlfriend Kim Kardashian's pregnancy in December and on Jan. 7, he wrote a message on Twitter resulting in speculation that music collaborator Jay-Z and Beyoncé might be the godparents to his first child.

West, 35, posted a picture of himself sitting with Kardashian, 32, Beyoncé, 31 and Jay-Z, 43. He captioned the picture "fam" before it went viral. Maroon 5 singer and "The Voice" coach Adam Levine replied to West's tweet that was later deleted. Fans may recognize the image of the foursome that was taken at 2012 BET awards in June last year.

If the "Single Ladies" singer and West' "Watch The Throne" duet rapper were to become the godparents of West's child with Kardashian, it would put rumors to rest that Beyoncé and the reality star have an ongoing feud.

Several reports reported that the singer confronted the reality star at Jay-Z's "Made in America" event in Philadelphia back in September because she stole the spotlight from her rapper husband. The Houston-native also had an issue reportedly with the "Kourtney & Kim Take Miami" star chatting with film director Ron Howard who attended the event. Kardashian discussed with Howard possible casting opportunities in future projects.

A source later said Beyoncé and Kardashian adore each other and that the Armenian beauty never even met Howard.

"They love each other," a source told TMZ. "They talk fashion, family, Beyonce's baby all the time."

West sent the tweet the same day Beyoncé and Jay-Z celebrated their daughter Blue Ivy's first birthday with an over-the-top bash.

The power couple spent $200,000 on a party for their only child on Jan. 7. No expense was spared when they spent a whopping $90,000 on white and pink roses for decorations and over $2,000 for her birthday cake. Their largest expense was their gift for the birthday girl - Blue Ivy received a diamond-encrusted Barbie doll that cost a whopping $80,000. The customized doll has 160 diamonds and white gold jewelry on it, according to a report.
