Shakira was spotted with her boyfriend Gerard Pique and her huge baby bump at a public event on Monday fueling speculation that her baby will arrive any time now.

Amid speculation that her due date is in mid-January, the Colombian singer was spotted with her boyfriend Gerard Pique and their relatives at the launch of her dad's book "Al Viento y Al Azar" at Barcelona's bookstore Casa del Libro. (See the picture here.)

"My son is going to have a great example, a grandfather who has many stories to tell. In (my hometown) Barranquilla, my dad isn't Shakira's father but rather I'm the daughter of William, and he's the best father life could possibly have given me. My cornerstone, my best friend, not only in my career but in my life," Shakira said, according to MSN Entertainment.

Shakira's mother, brother and Pique's parents were also at the event, according to the publication. It is possible that they are planning to stay in Barcelona for the birth of the baby after numerous publications reported that Shakira has chosen Barcelona to give birth to her first son at.

Also on Monday, the 35-year-old singer was photographed having a stroll in Barcelona with her hair tied in a pony tail, wearing black pants and a black David Bowie t-shirt. She plans to give birth in Spain, according to the Daily Mail.

The singer has not yet made her due date public, despite a report by the soccer association UEFA stating that Pique's baby was due in mid-January.

Shakira will replace Christina Aguilera as a judge on NBC's singing competition "The Voice," when the show debuts it's fourth season in the spring.

Speaking about coping with her commitment to the show and the arrival of her baby, the singer has said: "It hasn't been easy, but I have a lot of energy. I can go long hours. I'm thrilled to be here and I'm sure he is too," she said according to UK's The Sun.

Usher will also be a new judge on "The Voice" replacing Cee Lo Green. Marron 5's Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will stay in place for season four.
