During the upcoming fourth season of Vanderpump Rules, Taylor and Schroeder are seen having their first one-on-one conversation in years, and during a new interview, Taylor revealed he was nervous going into their chat.

"I was nervous," Taylor admitted to PEOPLE Magazine on Monday. "I don't know if she was nervous. We should have talked a long time ago, and some things were just holding that up."

While Taylor and Schroeder were dating when fans first met them during season one of Vanderpump Rules, their relationship came to an end a short while later, and since then, Schroeder has been dating Patrick Meagher, while Taylor has dated a number of women.

Although Taylor and Schroeder aren't exactly friends during season four, he claims their relationship is "definitely better than it was. You know, I have mixed feelings on Stassi. I'm sure she has mixed feelings on me. That's about as much as I can say. I'm really kind of torn with her."

As for Taylor's friendship with Tom Sandoval, Taylor revealed, "We're good. He's one of my best friends, but we don't see eye to eye on a lot of topics so, yeah, of course, like every other season we go through our ups and downs … but our friendship is there."
