Miss Alabama 2012's Katherine Webb has scored yet another victory since ESPN announcer Brent Musburger gushed over how "beautiful" and "lovely" she is during the BCS National Championship game last week.

Webb, 23, announced on Twitter that she will be covering the Super Bowl for "Inside Edition."

"So excited to be chosen to cover the Super Bowl XLVII for@InsideEdition in New Orleans!" she tweeted on Jan. 15.

The gig is another opportunity that has landed on Webb's lap a week after she was thrust into the spotlight. Webb revealed on Jan. 10 that she had been booked for a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated magazine.

"It's official...shooting with Sports Illustrated!" Webb reportedly tweeted then deleted.

Sports Illustrated confirmed that Webb will appear in this year's annual Swimsuit Issue. The bestseller will arrive on newsstands Feb. 11. Prior to the reveal, another magazine hinted that Webb might grace the pages of one of their upcoming issues.

"Everyone should keep their eyes open for future issues of Maxim," Patrick Carone, executive editor at Maxim Magazine told Fox News.

Webb became an overnight sensation after ESPN announcer Brent Musburger pointed out her pageant-worthy good looks during the BCS National Championship Game on Jan. 7.

"You see that lovely lady there, that's AJ McCarron's girlfriend," Musburger announced. "Wow, I'm telling you. You quarterbacks, you get all the good looking women. Honest. What a beautiful woman....Whoa!"

After critics blasted the commentator - many felt the comments were inappropriate- ESPN issued an apology on Twitter stating that Musburgur went "too far" with his compliments paid to her.

"Have been asked on focus on @_KatherineWebb in BCS," ESPN vice president of communications Mike Soltys wrote on the social media site. "We always try to capture interesting storylines, and the relationship between an Auburn grad who is Miss Alabama and the current Alabama quarterback certainly met that test. However, we apologize that the commentary in this instance went too far."
