Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani may have just gone public with their romance, but the two reportedly have already written music together. Specifically, a country duet.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Leave Halloween Party Together

According to People, the Voice coaches and newly minted lovebirds recently penned a tune together, one that is a mid-tempo country ballad that could have been inspired by their respective divorces.

The song, which, according to People's "industry insider," was written after the most recent season of The Voice started and has not yet been cut, is about "telling a lover to leave the relationship if that is what they truly want."

Gwen Stefani Says That She 'Really Trusts' Blake Shelton

It probably goes without saying that Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert divorced in June 2015 after four years of marriage, while Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale announced their divorce in August after 13 years of marriage. Hmm...

Whether or not the track was inspired by real-life events, one thing's for sure: It sounds great. But really, would you expect any less from two crazy talented singer-songwriters?

"It's amazing how good she sounds on a pretty country song," People's source spilled about Stefani's vocals. It certainly is an interesting genre for the No Doubt frontwoman, whose own music tends to lean more dance-pop and ska-like, the latter particularly when she's with her band.

After remaining coy about dating rumors, Stefani and Shelton (finally) confirmed their relationship on November 4, with a rep for Stefani telling TMZ that the two purposely wanted to go public with their romance on the night of the CMAs in Nashville.
