Many critics have delivered their verdict on Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2, and while some enjoyed it, others think it is not a fitting conclusion to the YA series.

Katniss Affirms Her Intent To 'Kill Snow' In New Clip

In fact a few critics also suggest that the producers of the films have unnecessarily drawn out the saga by adding a second part to the final of the trilogy. The Hollywood Reporter's critic states that "too many people will be sorry to see this overdrawn series end," The Guardian seconds the opinion revealing that "the decision to split the final chapter of the dystopian saga into two chapters looms large over a frustratingly-paced mixture of thrilling action and surprisingly dark drama."

But there are others who have positive things to say:

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 Could Have Alternate Ending For Katniss?

"With Mockingjay - Part 2, Hunger Games gets the finale it deserves. This, though, is a film whose bleakness may take some younger fans of the series by surprise." -- The Independent

"Mockingjay Part 2 is a fitting end to a franchise that's always been emotional, brave, and antagonistic." -- Den of Geek

"This might be the most downbeat blockbuster in memory...A film that starts out pitiless and goes downhill from there, save for a fleeting glimmer of hope in the final moments. It's a bold statement about the unforgiving nature of war, unashamedly political in its motives and quietly devastating in its emotional effect." -- Time Out London

Most of the reviews come from the British press, save a few like The Hollywood Reporter. We are sure waiting for the second round of interviews from the American press to find out how the movie fairs with critics back home.

Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 will hit theaters on Nov. 20.
