Carlos PenaVega may have been in jeopardy of going home Monday on ABC's Dancing With the Stars, but he's not giving up without a fight.

PenaVega faced possible elimination at the end of Monday night's episode of Dancing With the Stars but was the last celeb to be called safe. Singer Andy Grammer wound up being eliminated and PenaVega made it to the Final 6.

This isn't the first time PenaVega and his partner Witney Carson have been in danger of going home; they were the last to be called safe all the way back in Week 4, when Gary Busey was eliminated.

PenaVega isn't letting this get him down, though. The Big Time Rush singer took to Instagram this week to share a message of gratitude for his continued stay in the competition.

"We have now been in this competition for 8 weeks. My body aches. My mind is constantly flustered. Stress levels are up and down and I have LOVED EVERY SECOND OF IT!!!" he wrote in the caption to a photo of him and Carson dancing. "So thankful to everyone voting and keeping #teambrownsugar alive!! Love you all! @witneycarson I could not have asked for a better partner. I thank you for trusting me to lift you this past week. But most importantly I am so thankful for the patience you have teaching me all these dances. You are the BEST!"

"Today begins week 9 and we have 2 dances to learn. I am determined to win that mirror ball and I am ready to work my butt off. Everyone left is so incredible. I just feel so blessed to be part of @dancingabc This season. Lastly!! To my homie @andygrammer !!! I love you dude!! Seriously I will miss seeing you every week. We will be rhinestone bros for life!!! #Godisgreat".

The two dances PenaVega and Carson will perform on Monday are not yet known at this time.

Will PenaVega continue to advance in the competition or will he be cut short in the weeks before the finale?

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
