It’s no secret that the Kardashians got lots of flack after Lamar Odom overdosed last month. But now one of his former Los Angeles Lakers teammates has joined the backlash and confessed he had ill thoughts toward the famous family after Odom’s demise.

None other than Metta World Peace (formerly known as Ron Artest) got candid about his feelings when it came to the Kardashians’ involvement in Odom’s life. Odom is still legally married to Khloe Kardashian after she filed for divorce back nearly two years ago.
Now, Artest is blaming the Kardashins for Odom’s downfall after he starred in their reality series Keeping Up With The Kardashians and often discussed his troubled times after he left the show.
Metta, who has known Odom since they were teenagers, spoke with Vlad TV and revealed that he and Lakers star Kobe Bryant tried to help Odom before he reached the point of overdose.
“I was a little bit bitter toward the Kardashians without even knowing the situation. All I know is that it was reports that my buddy wasn’t gonna make it. We heard Khloe went out there and everything…I was a little bit uncomfortable with that because I didn’t know her agenda. But Khloe is apparently by his side.”
He went on to speak on speculation that Kardashian was not letting Odom’s two children visit him.
As for Bryant’s involvement, Metta added that he was not happy when he found out about Odom’s condition.
“Kobe supports Lamar. When Kobe found out Lamar was in the hospital, he was furious. I was in tears. It was right before a game. You can’t blame Kobe for what Lamar has done. Kobe has supported Lamar. Kobe has FaceTimed Lamar. Kobe tried to reach out to Lamar plenty of times before this incident. Sometimes Lamar won’t text back. We still support Lamar, that’s our boy.”
