New details have emerged regarding just what happened to Sister Wives star Meri Brown when she was being catfished earlier this year by a person she believed was a man named Sam Cooper.

Meri To Answer Tough Questions About Catfishing Scandal

The topic of her being catfished was addressed during the show's season 6 finale, when she told her husband, Kody, and fellow wives, Robyn, Janelle and Christine about "something she had to do" concerning a situation she was in, without going into too much detail. However, Meri did open up to the cameras about the state she was in when she started to fall for "Sam" online, and how the talking with a stranger soon made her feel better after she genuinely began to feel alone in her home following her legal divorce from Kody and their only child, Mariah, moving out and going to college.

"...in a place where I just feel alone. Isolated. Lonely," she said during the episode. "I don't feel like anybody else in the family can even relate. I wake up in the mornings and I turn the music on in my house so that I can have some noise. Because it's just quiet. It's lonely. I just feel lonely. I'm just alone so much at the time."

Everything We Know About Meri's Catfishing Scandal

And though her talk confused her family, they have still stuck by her side-with Kody and Christine in particular sharing messages of support on Twitter while the episode aired.

Christine shared that she would always be there for Meri no matter what happened, so long as her fellow Sister Wife wanted her to be there.

Kody also shared his support for his former legal wife, saying he would always be by her side. He also cautioned fans of the show not to jump to conclusions about the situation and to wait for the answers to unfold.

Meri herself has been the most vocal about her situation on Twitter however, thanking a close friend for her support, as well as Kody and Robyn, who has not yet commented on the issue. She also has hinted that there is much more to the story than has previously been let on-including that she may have later been stalked by "Sam" and verbally abused as well.

All of the details about the situation are scheduled to be unveiled during a special 2-hour Tell-All episode Sunday, Nov. 22 on TLC.
