Grand Theft Auto 5 is rumored to be released within the coming months, with a specific date yet to be confirmed by creator Rockstar Games that announced it would be available in the spring.

The game allegedly may launch on either Mar. 15, Mar. 27, or around the first of April, according to iDigitalTimes.

Although the publisher has yet to openly confirm plans for a GTA 5 PC release, a new listing on the Amazon's French website suggested that a GTA 5 PC offering is in the works, with the online retailer making the title available for pre-order.

Dan Houser, vice president for Rockstar Games, was interviewed by IGN and asked if PC and Wii U versions of GTA 5 were possibly in the works. His answer was vague and he said, "Everything else is up for consideration. That's all I can give you."

While fans eagerly await the arrival of the next GTA, possible spoilers are brewing as far as the plot and the new characters. One of the latest rumors is that the upcoming game will feature rapper The Game who may make an appearance as an unknown character. A piece of art was created by fans of the video game that furthered talk about the rapper's involvement with the popular video game franchise.

The piece showed The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, in the style of GTA's other artwork and was released on the Facebook page of Money Gang, an apparel company, on Jan. 19.

The Game had reportedly worked in the past with creators of Grand Theft Auto.

Back in November, he told radio station Wired 96.5 that he had done "a little bit of work with" Rockstar for the upcoming title, leading to speculation that he could be reprising his role as GTA: San Andreas character Mark "B-Dup" Wayne, according to VideoGamer.

It is still unknown what his involvement with the company was and how it might come into play for the next installment of GTA.
