Details emerged about the "personal secret" having to do with reality star Adrienne Maloof and a source said the scandal is indeed about Maloof using a surrogate.

The latest issue of Us Weekly cited an insider that said Maloof, 51, used a surrogate to have her twin boys Christian and Colin, 6.

Viewers of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" saw Maloof get furious when she heard that Brandi Glanville, a cast member of hers, told the other "Beverly Hills" stars her secret. The insider confirmed the news by saying, "Adrienne is furious. She despises Brandi," along with the following:

"A child psychologist recommended she wait until they are 10 years old. She doesn't want them teased at school or asked about it."

First mention of Maloof's family secret was brought up in a December 2012 episode of the show. The show's crew edited out the footage of Glanville relaying details of the surrogacy to the other reality show stars for legal reasons so viewers were left guessing what the secret was. A previous source said that it was about Maloof using a surrogate for her three children, however, Maloof is believed to have carried her first son Gavin, 9, naturally but through a complicated pregnancy, according to the Us Weekly's insider.

The insider added that Glanville is now friends with Maloof's ex-husband Dr. Paul Nassif following the couple's split in 2012, though her feud with Maloof continues.

"It's crazy that Paul can befriend Brandi after what she did to the kids," the insider said. "As the [show's] season progresses Brandi and Adrienne ignore each other during filming. They don't have an amicable conversation.

"They don't speak. Period. There is no way they'll ever be friends again."

Maloof finalized her divorce in November 2012. She has since moved on to date Ron Stewart's son Sean, a 32-year-old songwriter, musician and model. They have been spotted in public kissing and holding hands.
