Award season is nearly in full swing and the 16th annual Latin Grammy Awards definitely has everyone talking from Will Smith’s performance to the winners of the evening.

Hosted by Mexican actress Jacqueline Bracamontes and Puerto Rica singer and actress Roselyn Sancez, the awards aired Thursday night.
None other than actor and rapper Will Smith hit the stage to perform in one of the most talked about moments of the evening as he rapped to Fiesta along with Bomba Estereo. Let’s just say his moment proved that he’s still got it.

Ricky Martin also added some spice when he performed the ballad Disparo Al Corazon before getting sexy for the uptempo La Mordidita. It’s safe to say his was one for the books as well.

Other performers include reggaeton singers J Balvin and Furrko along with ChocQuibTown, who is an Afro-Columbian hip-hop group, and Prince Royce. Fifth Harmony also hit the stage.

Of course any Grammy Award show is about the artists who took home awards as well. Check out a few highlighted winners below.

Natalia Lafourcade went home with Song of the year award for Hasta La Raíz,while Juan Luis Guerra 4.40 took snagged the album of the year trophy for his project Todo Tiene Su Hora.

Newcomer Monsieur Periné is certainly making his mark on the Latin music industry as he won the new artist award.

Other winners include Alejandro Sanz’s Sirope for contemporary pop vocal album and Gilberto Santa Rosa won traditional pop vocal album after his latest Necesito Un Bolero was a hit on the charts.
