Dancing With the Stars finalist Alek Skarlatos opens up about what America should do about ISIS in the wake of the Paris attacks.

Why Nick Carter May Be In Danger Of Just Missing The 'Dancing With the Stars' Season Finale

Skarlatos, a member of the Oregon Army National Guard, has some complex feelings on how the United States should combat ISIS.

"I'd say kill them all but that takes money and lives, so we'll see. I don't know," he admitted after the latest episode of Dancing With the Stars. "There's no easy call, obviously."

Skarlatos also discussed one of his most recent dances, a Waltz to "America the Beautiful". The dance earned he and his DWTS partner Lindsay Arnold a 30 out of 30 from the judges.

"We wanted to do something patriotic and I think it all came together pretty well. I liked it. Having my whole family here [to watch] was great. My grandpa came out for the show tonight, and Mike Moustakas [of the Kansas City Royals]," he said.

The American hero also praised Arnold for taking him through the journey of Dancing With the Stars.

"I'm so lucky," Skarlatos admitted. "I'm so glad I have Lindsay as a partner and she took me this far."

Now, Skarlatos and Arnold only have three other couples standing in their way of the Mirrorball trophy: Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough, Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess and Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson. Can they do it? They need America's votes to do so.

Dancing With the Stars airs its finale Monday at 8/7c and Tuesday at 9/8c on ABC.
