Word is that Jason Derulo has moved on from his split with Jordin Sparks and is dating the mother of rapper 50 Cent’s three-year-old son; and now she and 50 Cent are talking about it.

She first started by heading over to Twitter to make it clear that speculation that she and Derulo are dating is completely false.

She wrote over the weekend, “…being at the same place and time doesn’t mean you’re an item…If you follow me on any of my social media I was already in London for work, and had a casual dinner w friends…” she said referring to a photo of her and Derulo in London that set off the rumors.

Daphne went on to say, “I’m single, please don’t get too wrapped up over one photo”


As far as 50 Cent, he doesn’t seem to care either way. He hopped on Instagram after word got out about Derulo and Daphne Joy and shared his candid thoughts.

Never one to hold back, he first started by posting a meme that suggested he didn’t care at all. Then, when a fan said Derulo and Daphne were hooking up, 50 Cent responded with, “He is [?] cool somebody gotta do it.” 50 Cent and Daphne’s comments come after he shared a snapshot of him and Daphne together in London for Throwback Thursday. He has since taken down the photo, but see it below.

Despite 50 Cent and Daphne’s statements, one insider did indeed confirm that she is dating the Trumpets singer.
They told Us Weekly, “It’s brand new. They’re hanging out and seeing where it goes. [They] started getting cool in London a few weeks ago.”
