Andy Murray's girlfriend Kim Sears, regularly seen cheering on her beau from the sidelines, will no doubt be present when the tennis player goes against Novak Djokovic on Sunday in the Australian Open 2013 men's finals.

Sears followed her British boyfriend around the world to support him in various tournaments and was photographed watching Murray's quarter-finals match earlier in the week against Gilles Simon, that lasted a little over an hour and a half with Murray coming out victorious.

The 25-year-old aspiring actress is the daughter of tennis coach Nigel Sears. She met Murray at the 2005 U.S. Open when she was just 17 and in school. Kim has a degree in English Literature from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom and started a career as a painter, which she said began "as a hobby, which has fortunately grown enough for me to take more seriously."

"I can't remember a time when I didn't turn to either paints or pencils as a means of release," Kim wrote on her website, Brushes and Paws.

Her dedication to supporting Murray in his matches prompted Daily Mail to write the following about her at the 2012 Wimbledon:

"The dedication she has shown to her tennis ace boyfriend, which includes postponing her own dreams of becoming an actress, could pay off today if Murray clinches the title. The 24-year-old has followed Murray across the globe supporting him in his championship matches in an admirable show of affection."

Murray beat Roger Federer in five sets in the semi-finals and secured his place in the finals. He hopes to carry on his success from 2012 - the year he won his first Grand Slam title in the U.S. Open, took gold at the London Olympics and reached the Wimbledon final.
