Fans might remember that Romeo was on the University of Southern California (USC) basketball team at one point. But considering his dad is a famous rapper, Master P said his future in professional basketball was put to a halt.

TMZ caught up with Master P recently who confessed, “When Romeo played he played for himself. If it’s not something he wanted him to do, he didn’t wanna do it…If he wasn’t Romeo he would probably be in the NBA right now.”

Meanwhile, it looks like Romeo has found a new passion in acting. The child rapper posted a few of his snapshots on Instagram Monday with a quote from Leonardo DiCaprio that explained why he loves acting.

"The best thing about acting is that I get to lose myself in another character and actually get paid for it... It's a great outlet. I'm not really sure who I am - it seems I change every day." #LeonardoDiCaprio #Quotes #Actor #Headshot
