Season 9's Top 11 turned into the Top 10 on Tuesday night, and Coach Adam's mentees continued to lead the pack as Team Gwen Stefani and Team Pharrell Williams fell behind.

Now into the third week of the Live Shows, the NBC series has given contestants three ways to stay in the game. After their Monday night performances, the hopefuls can advance via the public's vote, the Instant Save, or by landing their single on the iTunes Top 10 and thereby multiplying their votes. Unfortunately for Team Pharrell's Evan McKeel, he failed to secure any of these safeguards.

McKeel's rendition of Smile landed them in the Bottom Two with Team Gwen's Korin Bukowski. While Twitter users fell in love with Bukowski's version of She Will Be Loved, McKeel had no success with Let's Stay Together. After losing the Instant Save, McKeel exited the stage for good.

Team Adam's Jordan Smith and Amy Vachal, meanwhile, managed to score the iTunes Bonus for the second week running. They weren't the only ones, however. Team Blake's Emily Ann Roberts also broke into the Top 10 with Why Not Me.

Next week, watch the Top 10 take the stage once more Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
