Chatter On Zoey's Return To 'Nashville'

On Tuesday, TV By The Numbers gave an update on a number of popular TV shows on ABC that have a chance of gaining another season or being canceled by 2016. And right now, Nashville is at 1.08 in the 18-49 rating with 0.64 renew/cancel index.

The site listed it as one of the shows as 'likely to be canceled by May 2016.' It was also mentioned that the first couple seasons did decently in ratings, but it got worse in the third season and even worse in the fourth.

Nothing is official yet, but fans will probably want to prepare themselves for the worst.

As for other TV shows on ABC, Castle also has a chance of seeing its fate after this season. Last Man Standing and The Muppets might say goodbye as well, but they're at a 50-50 chance of a possible renewal.

Wicked City has already been canceled while Blood & Oil has been listed as a 'Dead Show Walking.'

The shows that have high hopes of staying on television for new episodes next season include Dr. Ken, Quantico, Fresh Off the Boat, Once Upon a Time, Black-ish, The Middle, Agents of SHIELD, How to Get Away With Murder, The Goldbergs, Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and Modern Family.

Nashville currently airs on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
